THE DESIGN EXPERIENCE

Event design is the process of transforming an event into a cohesive experience that can be seen, felt and internalized by guests. Effective event design is an art and science - translating the essence of the event (in this case, your love and partnership) to a visual expression. Delivery of event design can be subtle (lighting choices, details on place cards) to explicit (invitation selection and color palettes). While event design is primarily focused on the visual experience, event design also attempts to provide a language for describing that visual expression and layer that visual experience throughout the guest experience. This consultative and collaborative process aims to synthesize the preferences and tastes of the couple, the essence and personality of the venue, and the realities of their event and budget into a set of decor recommendations that can help express their love in creative and unique ways their guests can interact with. Any element of your event that physically interacts with your guests, outside of venue, catering, and music, falls within the scope of event design. This can include: Colors, Florals Tabletops, Seating Mood/Vibe, Lighting, Signage, Other Decor (i.e. Guest Book; Card Box; Favors; Cake Topper)

-Ideas on how to translate the vibe + mood to key decor categories (client selects 4 categories from list above)
-Vendor and DIY project recommendations to turn those ideas into action (not informed by budget)

Time: 4-6 weeks, including one minor revision

Cost: $3,780+
