FULL TIME HEAD EVENT PLANNER will report to TPIM Founder and owner Lara Mahler.
Job Overview:
THE PRIVILEGE IS MINE prides themselves on their “stress-less” approach to planning. Couple’s like working with us because we attack wedding planning with humanity, collaboration, creativity, fun and an overall understanding that inclusivity in the wedding industry means supporting ALL couples no matter their gender, race, partner preference, religion and class. We offer our specialty packages as well as offer accessible alternatives so that everyone feels seen.
A TPIM head planner is creative, collaborative, intuitive, works well under pressure, approaches weddings with humanity and creativity while navigating the process efficiently, minimizing stress and resonating “chill vibes.”
Responsibilities and Duties include but are not limited to:
-Daily checkins with founder Lara Mahler
-Weekly team meetings with founder Lara Mahler & TPIM team
-Quarterly TPIM review meetings
-Taking intro calls with potential clients
-Working with our TPIM clients on their COORDINATION 60 & 30 packages
-Execute day of weddings, up to 12 hours of service (Must be available on weekends)
-Representing the TPIM brand to vendors, venues and potential TPIM clients
-Support and work along side TPIM founder Lara Mahler with:
Venue and Vendor outreach + Partnerships
TPIM Full planning and Partial planning couples
Brainstorming future community event opportunities and supporting research in future event partnerships
Qualifications:
-College degree or equivalent and at least 2 years experience working or planning weddings in New York City.
-You must be based in New York City and must legally be able to work in the US.
-Must have great written and verbal communication and be proficient in sales.
We are looking for someone who is inspired in a small business setting and who is looking to grow with a growing company. We are looking for self starters with a good work ethic who can get tasks done quickly and efficiently and have great attention to detail and creativity. Knowledge of, Showit, Dubsado, Canva and Mailchimp are a plus but not essential….but most importantly we are looking for individuals who align with our wedding morals
Time Commitment and Salary:
This is a Full Time position, committing to 36 hours/wk.
We believe in the importance of work life balance, therefor Fridays are half days.
Starting base salary- $51,840 & not including quarterly incentive bonuses.
Annual 5% raise.
